I enjoy travel, casinos, visiting family and friends, watching old movies, and of course, playing spades and gin at the zoo! Much of my life was spent anticipating some form of excitement I hoped would take place. In recent years I've discovered that I'm content. I enjoy my life the way it is each day. I watch some tv, but not alot. My favorite shows are Greys Anatomy, House, American Idol and Oprah. My favorite old movie is Madam X with Lana Turner... and not quite so old movie is Pretty Woman! A feel good/chick flick! My golden retriever, Trooper, and I go for walks several times a week. Sometimes we walk at the river, other times just thru our neighborhood. We spend endless hours in our backyard close to nature and quiet thoughts. My koi pond is my favorite hobby.
I like some country and western music. Garth Brooks "The Dance" has been a favorite of mine since he first recorded it. I like easy listening music...soft rock, jazz, music one can talk over, if the occassion arises! :) |
