The ZOO Cares Fund is the brainchild of JoyBunny2 and the idea was quickly embraced by many ZOO members
and the ZOO's management. This fund continuously collects donations from generous ZOO members to help other
ZOO members in dire need. Our first mission was to assist Nibbles during her tragedy in mid 2006 when her
home was destroyed by fire and all possessions were lost. Through the generosity of many ZOO members, we
were able to raise over $700.00 in cash donations for Nibbles.

The ZOO now permits members to donate part or all of their ZOO Bucks to this special fund which will then
be converted to cash. In addition to ZOO Bucks, members can also make donations by credit card or through
Paypal.
Recipients of money (or items purchased) from this fund, and the amount will be decided by ZOO management. In an
effort to keep this honest, we pledge to keep this fund transparent to the general membership and closely monitor the opinions
of our members concerning this fund in the public forum. A running balance and a grouped listing of donators to this
fund will be displayed at all times. Recipients of money from this fund will be only those in dire need
having unusual circumstances that can be verified by independent sources.
